Initial Thoughts:

Ok, I'm cutting this one down, I saw 1 and 2, I enjoyed them, 3 was on Amazon Prime (they are doing better with several movies released this year) so I watched it.

Main Points:

Once again, the plot is very simple and we very quickly just get to John Wick killing lots of people. The fun part of these movies (and mainly what keeps me coming back) is creative fight scenes that are fun to watch. For example, in this movie, he basically beats someone to death with a book!

Keanu is having fun, as is Halle Berry and of course Ian McShane. This movie also really shows how much help 2 attack dogs could be during a huge gunfight. I also like how everyone involved in the movie is in on the joke, it's a silly movie and so they just make jokes, have fight scenes stop for silly reasons, people roll around, are killed in ridiculous ways and have plot twists that make little sense.

Of course, John should be dead 10 times over (and some other characters at least twice!) but it just doesn't matter. I laughed, it's exciting and you have fun watching it.

Final Thoughts:

The movies have a formula that works and continues with this one. I give it 7 .5 out of 10 and would recommend it highly to an action movie fan. I'm in for part 4, as long as it's fun and exciting, in a strange way the plot just doesn't matter much matter. Please no children, a lot of violence, some very graphic and coarse language, ages 18+.
